Kimberly is Klamath, Modoc, and Pit River. Born in Klamath Falls, Oregon, she later moved to Southern California at age ten, living primarily in Riverside as well as in Los Angeles and Orange Counties.
Kimberly grew up active and connected to the water, competing on her high school swim team and developing a lifelong love for bicycling and kayaking. Today, being on the water and being on her homelands remain central to her wellbeing and identity.
She is the mother of seven beautiful children, whom she lovingly calls the “Seven Wonders” of her world.
Professionally, she has served the Klamath Tribes for three years as the Administrative Assistant in the Social Services Department and is also a trained Peer Support Specialist. Her work reflects her commitment to community care, cultural connection, and supporting the next generation.
She is passionate about seeing youth engaged in shaping a better future for all nations and is deeply inspired by community efforts around water protection and environmental restoration.
Kimberly looks forward to contributing to Maqlaqs Paddle, where she hopes to deepen her knowledge and strengthen community connections through water‑based programming and cultural revitalization.
