Momentum River Expeditions Guided Trip on the Klamath River
About the Trip
A scenic, beginner‑friendly rafting day on the Upper Klamath. Perfect for families, elders, and first‑time paddlers.
Join us for a historic and beautiful float through the newly restored Kikacéki (Copco) Valley and Iron Gate sections of the Upper Klamath River. This is a mellow Class II trip perfect for families with kids and for those who want to see the restored river without all the big white water. This trip is great for a wide variety of guests, with a minimum age of 6 years old. For those who want to navigate portions of the river on their own, there's even the option to inflatable kayak some stretches.
This trip explores two unique sections of river with a stop at a uniquely beautiful location for lunch (a hearty and delicious lunch is included). After lunch, we'll drive around the most imposing section of whitewater, before dropping back into the river for an afternoon of more on-the-water fun.
Before your trip, we'll pick you up in Ashland, and will then have you back in town in time for dinner and a play. From the red-rock landscape alive with new growth, to the eagles and salmon finding their way up river, this trip is an amazing way to immerse yourself in the historic restoration of the Upper Klamath River.
